7 Former Cruiserweights Who Should Return To WWE Raw

5. Scotty 2 Hotty

No, 43-year-old Scotty 2 Hotty shouldn't be anywhere near the Cruiserweight Title, but he could play a vital role in the division. Similar to Tajiri, Scotty is a crowd-pleasing familiar face who is still in good shape and can still work a solid match. Plus, he's just been signed as a coach for the WWE Performance Center, meaning he's already tied to the company.

The master of The Worm is most fondly remembered for his Attitude Era antics with Grandmaster Sexay and Rikishi. As Too Cool, they were one of the most over acts in the promotion at a time when the roster was loaded with star power. Unfortunately for Scotty, once those teams had run their course he settled into a role as a glorified enhancement talent.

It wasn't a surprise when he was released in April of 2007 after months and months of working dark matches, Velocity and making up the numbers in multi-man cruiserweight fare. A model employee, Scotty left on good terms and has been brought back on special occasions since. Now that he's back working as a coach, there's no reason why he couldn't turn up on the occasional Raw to put over some up-and-coming cruiserweight star.

Besides, people would still go mad for The Worm in 2016.
