10 Wrestlers That Were Better Off Without The Mask
6. Juventud Guerrera
A contentious one, but Chris Jericho's unmasking of Juventud Guerrera really allowed his career to move to a new level in World Championship Wrestling. Juvi was one of the most popular masked superstars in the company, arguably the second most beloved behind Rey Mysterio, so removing the hood was something of a risk.
It turned out that 'The Juice' had masses of previously unseen charisma, and as such thrived in his new role as an unmasked luchador. He went on to win more championships sans mask, and rose to positions of prominence in WCW, including a stint as an announcer in order to keep him on-screen as he rehabbed an injury.
Juvi also had a brief spell in WWE in 2005, where he again appeared without a mask. His Mexicools partner, Psicosis? That guy was definitely better off with a mask. Just look at that face...
